Last February 2006, Sony Ericsson launches its business cellphone called M600. The Sony Ericsson M600 was designed for business oriented people, so if you’re looking for some entertainment phone, M600 wouldn’t suit you. But if you’re looking for cellphone that will support you in doing your daily business activities, Sony Ericsson M600 is the right cellphone for you.

The design use bar model and the size is 107 x 57 x 15 mm with 112 g in weight. The keypad is not like ordinary cellphone which consist of numbers and characters keypad. Since this is a business oriented cellphone, the keypad is a QWERTY keyboard. It also has the ability to recognize handwriting in English and Chinese. The screen is a TFT touchscreen with 256K colors.

To support business people who travel a lot, the Sony Ericsson M600 can work in UMTS / GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 network. It also supports GPRS connection (class 10) and 3G. Opera 8 application already installed if you need to surf the net. If you need to transfer data, Sony Ericsson M600 has all the method to make it easy for data transfer. M600 is equipped with Bluetooth, infrared port and USB port.

This business cellphone which come in two color option, Granite Black and Crystal White, have 80MB internal memory. If you need more space to save your data, han you can use Memory Stick Micro (M2) as its external memory. The default external memory is 64MB.

Although M600 main function is as a business cellphone, Sony Ericsson also installed mini games like Gofl and QuadraPop. And it also supports MP3 and AAC files, so you can play your favorite music through its Media Player.

The downside for Sony Ericsson M600 is that this cellphone don’t have any camera installed in it. But if you’re looking for a business phone, then camera wouldn’t be your main concern. You’re probably more concern whether the phone have office applications in it or not. And yes, Sony Ericsson M600 already has office applications installed in it. It also has organizer, voice memo and photo album. With a price ranging from US$320-342, this business phone would be a good choice for busy business people.
